Artifact 2: Introduction to framework was very sentimental to me. It made me reflects on my roots to be able to connect and understand the importance of code meshing. I feel this context was very informative because it spreads awareness of culture and acceptance. The world is constantly changing and us as individuals we are resourceful when adapting to change. Young challenges the expectation that marginalized speakers more so African Americans must switch to "standard" English to be viewed as intelligent and to be understood as a professional.This essay brings awareness how people's speech is tied to cultural background which makes them individual different from the rest. This reading allows its viewers to reflect on their own linguistic identities and the pressures that comes with being different.
